Where this came from

This site is run by the people behind Junk to Clear, a Singapore disposal company that has been clearing flats, offices and renovation sites since 2009.

That work put us in people's homes at a particular moment. Customers clearing a flat were usually moving out, moving in, or handing over to a landlord. They would ask whether we knew someone who could handle the cleaning, or the move, or whatever we did not do ourselves. So we would recommend someone.

17 years of that taught us things you only learn by referring real jobs and hearing what happened afterwards. Which vendors turn up when they said they would. Which ones quote low and find reasons to charge more once they are inside. Which ones you never hear a complaint about. Some we stopped referring after a single job.

That list, of vendors we have actually seen work, is what this site is built on. We are not a directory anyone can pay to join, and we are not a cleaning company competing with the vendors we recommend. We match you with people we would use ourselves, and you deal with them directly.

Why we built it this way

Buying home cleaning in Singapore is harder than it should be. Headline prices are quoted without saying whether they are hourly or a flat rate. Services with genuinely different scopes get sold interchangeably, so people book a deep clean when they needed post-renovation cleaning and end up paying for two visits. And the cheapest quotes often come with a compliance problem that lands on the household rather than the vendor.

So this site does three things. It states the pricing basis before the number. It tells you plainly when the service you are looking at is the wrong one and links you to the right one. And it explains what is actually regulated in home cleaning, including the parts where the answer is "less than you would assume".

What we do not claim

We publish no ratings, review counts or vendor numbers, because we have not genuinely collected them. When we have, we will say where they came from. There are no "Singapore's No.1" claims here for the same reason: we cannot evidence it, so we do not say it.

Prices on this site are indicative market ranges compiled from published sources, stated before GST at 9%. They are not quotations. Your price comes from the vendor, after they understand your home.

How the matching works

You send an enquiry. We pass it to vendors who cover your estate, offer the service you asked for, and have cleared the checks set out on our vendor standards page. They quote you directly. You compare, and you choose, or you choose nobody. There is no charge to you and no obligation to book.
