Privacy Policy

How SKAP Waste Management Pte Ltd, trading as HomeToClean, handles your personal data under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

Last updated: August 2026

The short version. We are a matching service, not a cleaning company. When you send us an enquiry we pass your name, contact details and what you have told us about the job to the cleaning vendors matched to your request, so that they can quote you directly. That disclosure is the point of the service, and we ask for your consent to it before you submit. We do not sell your data.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by SKAP Waste Management Pte Ltd, trading as HomeToClean. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company.

HomeToClean is a matching service. We introduce households in Singapore to independent cleaning vendors. We do not carry out cleaning work, and we do not employ the cleaners who attend your home.

2. What personal data we collect

Through the enquiry form on this site, we collect:

If you email us directly instead, we collect your email address and the contents of that correspondence.

We also collect basic, non-identifying usage data through Google Analytics, such as which pages were viewed and whether an enquiry was started or submitted. We do not use this to identify you, and this site does not use browser local storage or session storage.

3. Why we collect it

We use your personal data for these purposes, and no others:

4. Disclosure to vendor partners

This is the disclosure that matters most, so we state it plainly. When you submit an enquiry and give consent, we disclose the following to the cleaning vendors matched to your request:

We do this so those vendors can contact you directly and quote. Your enquiry may be passed to more than one vendor, so that you can compare. We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not pass your details to advertisers, data brokers or unrelated businesses.

Once a vendor receives your details, that vendor is a separate organisation with its own obligations under the PDPA and its own privacy practices. Any agreement for the cleaning work itself is between you and that vendor.

We may also disclose personal data to service providers who help us operate this site, such as hosting and analytics providers, and where we are required to do so by law.

5. Consent, and withdrawing it

We ask for your consent on the enquiry form before you submit it. The consent box is not ticked by default, and the form cannot be submitted without it.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us using the details in section 9. We will process the withdrawal within a reasonable period and stop using your data for the purposes above. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before we received the request, and we cannot recall data already disclosed to a vendor: you would need to contact that vendor directly.

6. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry data for as long as needed for the purposes set out above, and then for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so that we can deal with follow-up questions and disputes about a job we matched.

After that period we delete it or anonymise it, unless we are required to retain it longer to meet a legal or accounting obligation.

7. Your right to access and correct

Under the PDPA you may ask us:

Send the request to the contact in section 9. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. We may need to verify your identity first, and a reasonable fee may apply to an access request, as permitted under the PDPA. If we correct your data, we will also send the correction to any vendor we disclosed it to in the past year, unless that vendor no longer needs it.

8. Protection of your data

We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in our possession against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data you send to us over the internet.

9. Data Protection Officer

Questions, access or correction requests, and consent withdrawals go to:

Data Protection Officer

SKAP Waste Management Pte Ltd

Contact us through the enquiry form, marking your message for the attention of the Data Protection Officer. We do not publish an inbox address on this site.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use this site after a change means you accept the updated policy.

11. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer first. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
